Hello amigos, I hope all is well! Sorry for the radio silence in the past couple of weeks – life’s been pretty hectic since I left work over a month ago (Jesus, how has it been a month already?!). Since then, I packed up all my stuff, moved out of my flat, and left for a two-month adventure into the unknown – more of which you can read in one of my previous posts. The past couple of weeks went by in a jet-lagged, culture-shocked blur while I explored Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and made my way to Singapore – which is where I’m writing today’s post from.
Thanks to my jet lag in the first week, and just generally being exhausted from running around all day like a madman, I’m still trying to catch up with writing blog posts, so bear with me! In the meantime, if you’d like to keep in touch and follow my adventures (or just need some recommendations on places to visit), make sure to join me on Instagram. I post new photos and videos every day, so if you don’t want to wait for my next blog post to see where I’m currently wandering at, find me on there!
Anyway, where was I? So, after leaving London this time last month, my first stop was Hong Kong, where I spent 4 fantastic but exhausting days and met up with one of my friends, Adam – who joined me for the first two weeks of my trip.
Hong Kong has been on my list of places I wanted to visit for some time now, so I had high hopes for the place – but I had no idea how much I’d end up loving it. I’m not exaggerating when I say I fell in love with it within hours, and I’m still gutted that I couldn’t stay a bit longer. And although four days was enough to soak up HK’s atmosphere and see most of things I originally planned to see, I could’ve easily stayed a week or two!
