As you know, I love doing book tags. They’re always tons of fun to do – and to read – and it’s a nice change from book reviews and book haul posts. Since I haven’t done any book tag posts in a while and I know you guys enjoyed my previous attempts as well, I decided to bring this feature back to the blog.
The tag I’m going to do today is the opposite book tag, which – I believe – was originally created by minhaestante on YouTube. As always, I’m not tagging anyone in particular, but if you’re reading this and you feel like joining the fun, do it! 🙂 I’d love to see your answers, so make sure to let me know if you did it and I’ll stop by your blog.
Right. *rolls up sleeves* Let’s get started.
Honestly? I have no idea what my first book was. Reading has always been a massive part of my life, and I’ve been surrounded by books ever since I was little. I got my first books from parents and relatives and since I was just a kid at the time, I have absolutely no clue what these books were. I remember reading Winnie the Pooh many, many times, but I know it wasn’t the first book in my collection.
The last book I bought is The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding by Agatha Christie. Christie is one of my favourite authors and I’ve read more than 30 of her books so far. I lost count of how many I actually own – I moved house two years ago and most of them are still at my parents’ – but it must be over 40 now. I saw this one in a local charity shop for 50p (!) last week, so I couldn’t resist!
