Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone and happy Sunday! How are you all? How has your weekend been so far? I moved house yesterday (long story short, my flatmate moved back to London so I had to find a new place) , so I’m still exhausted – but I’m looking forward to a lazy Sunday in my new home!
The only physical copy I got this week was Normal by Graeme Cameron, which is going to be published in April. (Which makes me a tiny bit excited as I don’t usually get proofs so far in advance!) I absolutely fell in love with the story when I read the blurb and I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one.
All my other books are e-books because… *whispers* I went a bit NetGalley mad this week. I didn’t want to go overboard so I managed to narrow my choices down to these three:
I spotted the A to Z of You and Me in the Transworld catalogue ages ago (in fact, I even blogged about it in my latest Catalogue Highlights post) so it was a no-brainer. I’ve also heard great things about Boys Don’t Knit and I’ve been meaning to pick it up for a while now. I hope it doesn’t disappoint! Then I spotted Ciara Geraghty’s latest, Now That I’ve Found You. I loved her previous novel so I’m really looking forward to this one.
Have you read any of these yet? What did you think? 😀
