Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone and happy Sunday! Did you have a nice week? Mine went by surprisingly quickly, which I’m really happy about because this time next week I’ll be sitting on a plane en route to Barcelona! I’ve never been to Spain before so I’m really looking forward to it. Plus, it’ll be nice to soak up the sun on a nice beach with a good book for company. 😀
In other news, since I know a lot of you (including me) prefer to leave blog reading, commenting and scheduling for the weekend because we’re busy during the week, I decided to start a new weekly newsletter. If it sounds like something you’d like to be part of (you know you want to!), you can subscribe at the very top of the page or by clicking here.
I met the lovely Karin – who came to London on holiday – last Saturday and she gave me her copy of Reunited, which I’ve been meaning to read for ages. Although I’ve heard mixed things about this one and even Karin said it wasn’t as good as she expected, I’m really looking forward to picking it up. I love road trip books and I’m always looking for new ones to read so it sounds perfect!
Ghost Moth is a review copy from Hachette, which arrived yesterday. I’ve seen this a lot on Twitter and is a genre which I haven’t read lately, so it’ll be a nice change from YA and crime fiction. 🙂 Thanks, guys!

I’ve been pretty good at avoiding NetGalley in the past couple of months but I couldn’t resist requesting these two. I miss reading contemporary fiction so these two will be perfect.
What books did you get this week? Have you read any of these? If you did a Showcase Sunday post this weekend, make sure to link up below. Take care and see you next week!
