Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone! How are you? Did you have a nice week? I’ve had another hectic week but I did manage to squeeze some reading in, which I’m really happy about. 🙂 I also decided to change things up a bit and experiment with a new blog template. I like the colour and overall look of the blog but I’ve wanted to switch to a different template for a while and I figured this would be a good time to do it. Don’t worry, it won’t be a complete makeover (many of you complemented me on this design so I know you’ll pleased to hear this) but the blog will look a bit different. In a good way, hopefully. 😀
I haven’t bought or requested many books in the past couple of months because ever since starting my job I just simply don’t have enough time, but I did get an exciting ARC on Friday, which I’m really looking forward to reading. It’s out in October and Goodreads reviews seem very promising, so fingers crossed it’s good. Many thanks to Harlequin / Mira Ink for the review copy!
What books did you get this week? Have you read The Lies We Tell Ourselves yet? If you did a Showcase Sunday post this weekend, make sure to link up below. Take care and see you soon!
