Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Good morning everyone! How are you? If you’re taking a short break from Dewey’s readathon, how are you doing? I was doing pretty good until midnight but decided to call it a day and get some sleep. We still have two hours left, though, so once I’ve written this post I’m going back to reading. 🙂 In other news, I’m currently lying in bed with a sprained ankle so this readathon couldn’t have come at a better time!
I had a great week book-wise: Sophie from Reviewed the Book had a Twitter giveaway going on in the past few weeks and I was one of the lucky winners who got to choose two books from her wish list. There are a few UKYA books I’m dying to read so I decided to go for Undone and Trouble, both of which have been on my wish list ever since I read Jesse‘s reviews of them. Thanks again, Sophie!
Two review copies arrived from Transworld and Headline this week, both for future blog tours. Both tours are happening in May and I’ll have 5 copies of The Broken to give away so keep your eyes peeled! 🙂
