Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone! Today’s post is going to be rather short: I’m still studying for my last remaining exam so I won’t have time to take pictures of all the physical books I got, edit and upload them, and so on, so I decided to save them for next weekend. What I’m going to showcase this weekend, however, are some new e-books I got this week. Look, look!
Downloaded for Kindle
I went a tiny bit crazy with e-books this week: as you might have noticed after seeing the cheeky little yellow badge in my sidebar area, the Richard and Judy book club reading challenge has just started! It runs between 1 June and 31 August and these are four of the titles on our reading list. Since I’m quickly running out of shelf space and Kindle editions seem to be a lot cheaper at the moment, I decided to download these onto my Kindle and tick them off on the list. Hurray! I’m really looking forward to reading Natural Causes so I think I’m going to start with that one. (Or Close My Eyes, which I already own in paperback, thanks to Simon & Schuster who were lovely enough to send me a copy for review. Not sure yet.)
Are you planning on reading any of these? And most importantly, are you joining us in the Richard & Judy challenge? 🙂 If you haven’t checked it out yet, make sure to do so by clicking here – it would be lovely to have you on board!
Also, make sure to link up your own Showcase Sunday posts below and/or leave a comment and please, please cross your fingers for me on Tuesday! (that’s the day of my final exam) Big hugs and lots of love, x
