Hello and welcome to Showcase Sunday. Inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and the Story Siren, the aim of Showcase Sunday is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. For more information about how this feature works and how to join in, click here.

I had another brilliant week! Not only did I get my review copy of Northwest corner – which is the sequel of Reservation Road (click here to read my review) – but I received a box full of books as well!
Long story short, Mist from Bookaholics Book Club organised a charity auction in order to raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association back in March this year. Mist and fellow readers donated over a hundred books for this event where we could bid for each of them on their Facebook page. I bid on and won 5 fantastic books which have been on my wishlist for several months now. (Well, How to be Married is the only one that’s new to me but it sounds like a great story so I had to have it. :)) Anyway, it was fun and it was for such a great cause as well. Mist, if you decide to organise a similar event next year, you can count me in!
So that’s it for this week, folks. What did you get? Make sure to leave a link to your own Showcase Sunday post in the linky below and feel to leave a comment after linking up and I’ll visit you back asap!
