Good morning, everyone! I have a very special – and very exciting! – post for you today, one which fans of J.K. Rowling and Robert Galbraith (and all the budding detectives out there) are guaranteed to enjoy. So, those of you who follow me on Twitter might have seen me tweet about a mysterious sign that appeared at 18 Denmark Street this time last week.
Although I told you the clue was in the picture, I couldn’t reveal any more than that at the time, so I’m sure you’re wondering what I’ve been talking about all week with these tweets.
Well, I’ve teamed up with the rather ingenious folks at Sphere to recruit some dazzling new detectives to launch the latest addition to Robert Galbraith’s Cormoran Strike series, Career Of Evil, which is hitting bookshelves on the 20th October.
To celebrate the release, Sphere has put together a super fun competition offering a place for a few lucky fans on a Cormoran Strike themed ‘live escape’ experience in London on the 21st October. And don’t worry if you’ve only just seen this or haven’t entered yet – you’ve still got time.
How to Win
If you’d like to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity and be one of the lucky few who get to step into Cormoran Strike’s shoes and be detectives for a day, contact the number on the image above and answer a question assigned to you on the corresponding voicemail message. You will also need to specify in your answer that you’ve been sent via this blog.
The winning fans will be racing against the clock throughout the hour-long session; the ultimate aim of which is to solve the mystery and find the murderous culprit. They will also receive an exclusive copy of the new novel, and the two fastest teams to complete the challenge will be awarded a dedicated version of the book from the author him (or her…) self.
