Stylist Magazine hosted their first annual event, Stylist Live, in 2015 – and, after last year’s success, SL is back with an even more impressive line-up. To put it simply, Stylist Live is a four-day festival of cocktails, culture, catwalks and conversation – and much, much more.
Although I vaguely remember reading a couple of posts about it on social media, I think I first read about last year’s event on Rosh’s blog – and completely fell in love with it. So when this year’s programme went live, I knew I had to be there.
This year, Stylist Live will take place from Thursday 13 October to Sunday 16 October at the Business Design Centre in London, and will feature hundreds of talks, workshops, catwalk shows, book signings, boutique pop-ups – and more. Caitlin Moran, Sali Hughes, my dear friend Marian Keyes, and Jo Malone will all make an appearance during these four days, in addition to dozens of other presenters and brands. Unfortunately (or luckily?), I’ll be in Rome until the 15th, so I won’t be here for the first three days – but I’ll definitely make my way down to London on the Sunday.
Talks / Workshops
Stylist Live offers more than 150 talks and workshops during these four days, covering everything from fashion and beauty to launching your own business, coding your website, or making money from your blog. Whether you’re a beauty, lifestyle, travel or foodie blogger (or simply interested in lifestyle and culture), there’s something for everyone.
There are so many things I’m interested in and I know I won’t have the chance to go to every single event on my list – but if you need some ideas on what Stylist Live has to offer, these are my favourite workshops from Sunday’s lineup that I’m hoping to attend.
