This week’s question:
E-readers like the Kindle and iPad are sweeping the nation … do you have one? Do you like it? Do you find it changes your reading/buying habits? If you don’t have one, do you plan to?
I don’t have an e-reader yet, unfortunately. I’m saving up for a Kindle at the moment but I haven’t had enough money to buy it yet, being a poor uni student and all. I don’t think it would necessarily change my buying habits, but it my reading habits would definitely change. Thanks to Netgalley, I have lots of ebooks on my laptop – the only problem is, I don’t like reading online. It gives me a headache and my eyes hurt after a while so it would be much easier with an e-reader. Which means I would read much more if I had an e-reader. The reason why my buying habits wouldn’t change is that no matter how practical the Kindle is, I’ll always prefer physical copies. There’s nothing like holding a paperback copy in your hands. 🙂
What do you think? Does it change your buying/reading habits?
